Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using The Vault application and website (the "Service") operated by Abaza Business Services ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country, which may be up to 16 in some EU member states) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account Registration

• You may register using an email address and password, or via Google Sign-In.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it up to date.
• You may not create accounts for others without their permission, or use the Service on behalf of another person without authorisation.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Upload images that are offensive, harmful, or violate our community standards.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including card images ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not claim ownership of your card images or collection data. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content.

5. AI-Generated Information

The Service uses artificial intelligence to identify cards and estimate values. All AI-generated outputs — including card identifications, condition assessments, grading advice, and value estimates — are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, or professional advice.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated information. Actual market values may vary. You should independently verify any valuations before making buying, selling, or grading decisions.

6. eBay Pricing Data

Estimated values shown in the Service are sourced from eBay's public sales data via the eBay API and are provided for reference only. We are not affiliated with eBay. These estimates are not guaranteed to reflect actual resale value and may change at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

All content of the Service — including the name "The Vault", app design, logo, code, and proprietary features — is owned by Abaza Business Services and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Trading card images are the property of their respective publishers and rights holders. The Vault does not claim ownership of any third-party card imagery.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Anthropic (AI), eBay, and Vercel. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third parties' terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ABAZA BUSINESS SERVICES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed £50 GBP (or equivalent).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Abaza Business Services and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@myvaults.io. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
